When Kim started her education in small business management, her plan was to own her own business. However, a school work placement at a financial planning office changed all that. After her initial assignment of filing papers and typing portfolios, she soon realized how rewarding working in the financial services could be. Kim continued to expand her knowledge in the field, in 2005 completing the Canadian Investment Funds Course and Branch Manager Examination from The Investment Funds Institute of Canada. She states that both programs provided her with valuable tools and information to better assist her team and clients in an efficient, compliant manner.
Fast forward to today, where more than 20 years of on-the-job experience taught her well. However Kim credits her many clients for teaching her the most important lessons. Being part of their financial success and security has given her “joy and fulfillment that I cannot measure”.
Kim considers herself fortunate to be able to say, with confidence, that she loves and enjoys what she does for a living, and is proud to come to work each day to do everything she can to provide support and assistance to the CCFG Team and clients.
